This tag is used to identify CPAP/BIPAP/VPAP/AUTOPAP equipment at security checkpoints. The tag states:

“This medical respiratory equipment must be kept with the person at all times. It can not be stored and is not counted as carry-on luggage. This is life support equipment for people with Obstructive Sleep Apnea or Respiratory Failure.

The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) states: C-PAP

-Respiratory Equipment is an acceptable carry-on for all airlines. This equipment may be inspected at any and all check-in points but should not be separated from the prescribed owner.”
